Azide-PEG5-Tos is a bifunctional PEG crosslinking reagent with an azide group and a tosylate leaving group. Its PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The azide reacts with alkyne, BCN or DBCO groups through click chemistry to form a stable triazole linkage, while the tosylate supports nucleophilic substitution. These distinct reactive groups provide two sites for chemical coupling within a single PEG linker.
