- Description
Acid-PEG9-NHS ester is a PEG linker with carboxylic acid and NHS ester functional groups. Its NHS ester supports labeling of primary amines (-NH2) on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides and other amine-containing molecules. The carboxylic acid can form a stable amide bond with a primary amine when activated with reagents such as EDC or HATU. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media; listed solvents include DCM, ACN, DMF, DMSO and DMAC.
