N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-Boc-PEG4-NHS ester is a branched PEG linker combining an azide terminus, a Boc-protected amine and an NHS ester terminus. These groups provide distinct sites for conjugation: the azide supports click chemistry, while the NHS ester labels primary amines on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides and other amine-containing molecules. Acidic conditions can remove the Boc protecting group to expose the protected amine.
