Lipid 114 (10mg/ml solution in methyl acetate) is an ionizable cationic lipid with pKa = ~6.8. It has been used to prepare lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for siRNA delivery in vitro and in vivo.
In a mouse model of acute liver failure induced by LPS and D-(+)-galactosamine, LNPs containing this lipid and IL-1β-targeted siRNA reduced hepatic and renal Il1b expression, along with hepatic inflammation and damage. The molecular formula is C95H186N4O10, and the molecular weight is 1544.6.
