OG 488 Alkyne is a bright green-fluorescent probe used to image azide-containing biomolecules. Also known as 2′,7′-Difluorocarboxyfluorescein Alkyne, 6-isomer, it carries an alkyne group that reacts with azides through copper-catalyzed click chemistry (CuAAC), forming a stable triazole linker. This fluorescein-labeling reagent is soluble in DMSO and DMF, has a molecular weight of 449.4, and is listed for storage at -20°C.
