- Description
Fluorescein-PEG4-Propargyl is a xanthene dye for fluorescent labeling through copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). Its alkyne reacts with azide groups to form a stable triazole linkage. The hydrophilic PEG spacer supports aqueous solubility and reduces steric hindrance during binding; the dye may also serve as a quantum yield standard.
The product has molecular formula C32H32N2O9S, molecular weight 620.7 and purity 95%. It is soluble in DMSO, DMF and ACN, with slight solubility in DCM. Store at -20°C.
