Biotin-PEG8-Picolyl azide is a biotinylating PEG linker for copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with linear alkyne-containing molecules. Its picolyl azide moiety supports increased CuAAC reaction speed and efficiency, while the PEG8 chain improves hydrophilicity. The reagent also participates in strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with DBCO or BCN groups without a copper catalyst. Its listed purity is 95%.
