Biotin-PEG4-Picolyl azide is a biotin labeling reagent for conjugation to alkyne-containing biomolecules through Cu(I)-catalyzed click chemistry. Its copper-chelating motif accelerates the reaction and allows lower copper catalyst concentrations while maintaining labeling efficiency. The hydrophilic PEG spacer supports improved aqueous solubility of the labeled molecules.
