DBCO-Gly-Gly-Gly is a water-soluble substrate for sortase-mediated protein labeling, also known as sortagging. Sortase links a recognized protein sequence to the N-terminal amine of the triglycine segment. Following attachment, the DBCO-bearing protein can be further modified with azide-containing molecules to produce site-specific conjugates.
