N-(Methyltetrazine-PEG4)-N-Biotin-PEG4-TFP ester is a branched biotinylation reagent combining tetrazine-based click chemistry with a primary amine-reactive TFP ester. The tetrazine reacts with TCO through a copper-free inverse-electron demand Diels-Alder cycloaddition. The TFP ester reacts with primary amines and is less susceptible to hydrolysis than an NHS ester. This reagent is grouped within the branched biotin PEG and tetrazine-PEG linker categories.
