Amino-PEG5-acid is a PEG linker bearing an amino group and a terminal carboxylic acid group. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The amino group provides a reaction site for carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes.
