PCL(1k)-PEG(2k)-COOH is a monofunctional, amphiphilic block copolymer in the PCL-PEG-Acid family. It can assemble into micelles in water for drug encapsulation and drug-delivery research. Its carboxyl group reacts with amines in the presence of an activating agent, such as HATU/EDC, to form a stable amide bond.
