Amino-PEG4-t-butyl ester is a PEG linker featuring a terminal amino group and a t-butyl protected carboxyl group. The amino group is reactive toward carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes. The t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be removed under acidic conditions.
