N-(t-butyl ester-PEG2)-N-bis(PEG3-azide) is a branched PEG linker with two terminal azide groups and a tert-butyl ester-protected carboxyl group. The azide moieties react with alkynes such as DBCO, BCN, and propargyl reagents via click chemistry, while the t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be removed under acidic conditions. It is soluble in DMSO, DCM, and DMF.
