C14-A1 (solution in ethanol) is an ionizable cationic lipid used in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) research for mRNA delivery. It is cataloged among branched, multi chargeable lipids. LNPs containing this lipid and mRNA encoding forkhead box protein P3 (FOXP3) have been reported to increase FOXP3 expression in primary human T cells. These formulations also suppress primary human CD4+/CD8+ T-cell proliferation, increase TGF-β1 secretion, and decrease IL-10 secretion from those cells.
