AMCA-PEG4-Propargyl is an AMCA labeling dye with an alkyne handle for copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). Reaction with terminal azide groups produces a stable triazole linkage, supporting click-chemistry labeling applications. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases aqueous solubility and reduces steric hindrance during binding.
The dye may also be used as a quantum yield standard. It is a research-grade reagent with molecular formula C23H30N2O7, molecular weight 446.5 and purity of 98%.
