DBCO-PEG8-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAE is an ADC linker–payload conjugate combining a DBCO click chemistry handle, a Val-Cit dipeptide, a PAB motif and an MMAE payload. The DBCO group reacts with azide groups for conjugation. Protease cleavage of the Val-Cit motif enables intracellular MMAE release through an elimination mechanism involving the PAB fragment.
