Azido-PEG24-acid is a long-chain, monodisperse PEG linker with azide and terminal carboxylic acid functionality. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The azide provides a click chemistry handle for reaction with alkyne, BCN or DBCO groups, while the carboxylic acid can couple with primary amines using activators such as EDC or HATU to form a stable amide bond.
