Azido-PEG4-acid is a PEG linker with an azide group and a terminal carboxylic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases aqueous solubility. Click reactions of the azide with alkyne, BCN, or DBCO groups produce a stable triazole linkage. With activators such as EDC or HATU, the carboxylic acid reacts with primary amines to form a stable amide bond. The specified purity is 98%.
