Azido-PEG1-methylamine is a PEG linker bearing azide and methylamine groups. The hydrophilic spacer increases aqueous solubility, while the azide reacts with alkynes, BCN and DBCO through click chemistry to form a stable triazole linkage. The methylamine functionality provides a separate reaction site for carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes.
