Amino-PEG36-acid is a highly water-soluble, long-chain PEG linker with amine and terminal carboxylic acid groups. The amine can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes. With an activator such as EDC or HATU, the carboxylic acid can couple to a primary amine to form a stable amide bond. The specified purity is 97%.
