Mal-Cyclohexyl-PEG3-Biotin is a biotin-bearing PEG linker with a maleimide group for sulfhydryl conjugation. At pH values between 6.5 and 7.5, the maleimide reacts with sulfhydryl groups to form a stable thioether linkage. The PEG spacer extends the reach of biotin into a protein binding pocket and increases the solubility of biotin-PEG conjugates. It is listed with a purity of 98% and storage at -20°C.
