PC Biotin-PEG3-azide is a photocleavable biotin PEG linker for labeling alkyne-containing biomolecules through click chemistry. Its hydrophilic PEG arm helps increase the aqueous solubility of labeled molecules, while the photocleavable design enables light-triggered release of captured biomolecules. Photorelease can be performed with low-intensity near-UV illumination, such as a 365 nm lamp at 1-5 mW/cm2. The reagent has a listed purity of 95% and is stored at -20°C.
