PC-Biotin-PEG4-PEG3-azide is a photocleavable biotin linker used to label alkyne-containing biomolecules through click chemistry. Its extended hydrophilic spacer supports high aqueous solubility of the labeled molecules. Following capture, biomolecules can be released by near-UV illumination using a low-intensity lamp, such as a 365 nm lamp at 1-5 mW/cm2.
