Diazo Biotin-PEG3-azide enables biotin labeling of alkyne-containing biomolecules through Cu(I)-catalyzed click chemistry. Its hydrophilic spacer helps increase the aqueous solubility of labeled molecules. The diazo group permits release of captured biotinylated molecules from streptavidin by treatment with sodium dithionite (Na2S2O4).
