Mal-amido-PEG36-TFP ester is a PEG linker bearing maleimide and TFP ester end groups for reaction with thiols and primary amines, respectively. The maleimide reacts with thiols between pH 6.5 and 7.5, while the TFP ester is less susceptible to hydrolysis than an NHS ester. Its hydrophilic PEG chain supports increased water solubility of conjugated compounds in aqueous media. The listed purity is 98%.
