Azido-PEG1-acid is a click chemistry reagent combining an azide group with a terminal carboxylic acid. The azide can react with alkyne, BCN or DBCO groups to produce a stable triazole linkage. The carboxylic acid provides a separate coupling site for primary amines, forming a stable amide bond with activation by EDC or HATU.
Its hydrophilic PEG spacer increases aqueous solubility. Listed under PEG Acid and PEG Azide, the reagent has 98% purity and is soluble in Water, DMSO, DMF, DCM.
