PLX-4545 is an orally active, selective molecular glue degrader of IKZF2. It binds CRBN and recruits IKZF2 into a ternary complex, promoting IKZF2 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation. It is listed within the IKZF degrader category.
Used in cancer immunotherapy research, the compound is reported to reduce regulatory T-cell suppressive activity, increase IL-2 production, and enhance CD8+ T-cell responses. Reported effects also include synergy with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as anti-PD1.
