DBCO-C5-NHS ester is an amine-reactive reagent for modifying amine-containing molecules in organic media. It is not soluble in aqueous media. Its extended 5-carbon atom spacer arm improves solubility in organic solvents such as dichloromethane, chloroform, THF, and ethyl acetate, while also improving derivatization efficiency and conjugate stability.
