MC-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAF is an antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) precursor combining a thiol-reactive maleimide group, an enzymatically cleavable Val-Cit site and the cytotoxic payload MMAF. The maleimide group reacts with thiol-bearing molecules, while the Val-Cit site is susceptible to cleavage by Cathepsin B. MMAF is a synthetic antineoplastic agent. This cleavable ADC reagent is soluble in DMSO and DMF and has a listed storage temperature of -20°C.
