Mal-PEG4-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAF is an ADC linker-payload construct combining a thiol-specific maleimide with an enzymatically cleavable Val-Cit site and the MMAF payload. The maleimide labels cysteine residues in proteins, while the Val-Cit segment provides a site for Cathepsin B cleavage. MMAF is a synthetic antineoplastic agent used as a cytotoxic payload. The PEG chain enhances aqueous solubility; listed solvents are DMSO, DMF.
