- Description
DBCO-PEG4-Maleimide combines a DBCO moiety and a thiol-reactive maleimide group through a hydrophilic PEG spacer. The maleimide reacts with thiols to form stable thioether bonds, allowing attachment to cysteine-containing peptides and other thiol-bearing biomolecules. The DBCO moiety supports copper-free click chemistry.
The PEG spacer improves solubility in aqueous buffers. Listed solvents are DMSO, DCM, DMF, and the supplied purity is 95%.
