Propargyl-PEG6-acid is a water-soluble PEG linker bearing propargyl and carboxylic acid functional groups. The propargyl group couples with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules through copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne click chemistry, forming a stable triazole linkage. The carboxylic acid provides a separate coupling site for primary amines when used with an activator such as EDC or HATU. This combination supports both click chemistry and activated amine coupling.
