PC Biotin-PEG3-alkyne enables biotin labeling of azide-containing biomolecules through Cu(I)-catalyzed click chemistry. Its PEG spacer improves the aqueous solubility of the labeled molecules, while its photocleavable functionality allows captured biomolecules to be released by light.
Photorelease uses low-intensity near-UV illumination, such as a 365 nm lamp at 1-5 mW/cm2. This linker is included in the Biotin PEG, Alkyne PEG and Photocleavable Linkers categories.
