Dde TAMRA Biotin Alkyne is a cleavable probe containing a fluorescent TAMRA dye, a biotin moiety and a hydrazine-cleavable Dde spacer. It is used in affinity-based assays to recover avidin-bound protein complexes. Treatment with 2% aqueous hydrazine cleaves the Dde moiety, releasing the biotin tag and its bound avidin conjugate. The probe is soluble in DMSO, DMF.
