Bis-sulfone-PEG12-NHS Ester is a bis-alkylating labeling reagent for conjugating the two cysteine thiols generated by reduction of a native disulfide bond, including antibody interchain disulfides. Selective reaction at the cysteine sulfur atoms creates a covalent three carbon bridge, rebridging the reduced disulfide while retaining the protein's structural integrity.
The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. Listed under site-specific ADC linkers and PEG NHS ester linkers, this reagent has a specified purity of 90% and is soluble in DMSO, DCM, DMF.
