Aminooxy-PEG1-azide is a short PEG linker bearing aminooxy (ONH2) and azide (N3) groups. The aminooxy group reacts with aldehydes to form oxime bonds for bioconjugation; with a reductant, a hydroxylamine linkage can form. The azide group undergoes click reactions with alkyne, BCN, or DBCO partners to produce stable triazole linkages.
