- Description
AMCA-PEG4-DBCO combines an AMCA fluorescent dye with a reactive DBCO group through a hydrophilic PEG spacer. Its excitation/emission maximum is 345/450 nm. The DBCO group couples with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules without a copper catalyst, producing a stable triazole linkage.
The PEG spacer supports aqueous solubility and reduces steric hindrance during binding. This click chemistry reagent can also be used as a quantum yield standard. Listed solvents are DMSO, DCM, DMF, ACN.
