Fmoc-NH-PEG4-CH2COOH is a PEG linker with an Fmoc-protected amine and a terminal carboxylic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer enhances aqueous solubility. The Fmoc group can be removed under basic conditions to yield a free amine for further conjugation, while the carboxylic acid forms stable amide bonds with primary amines when activated by reagents such as EDC or HATU.
