N3-PEG8-COOH is a water-soluble, monodisperse PEG linker containing an azide group and a terminal carboxylic acid group. Its 8-unit PEG segment serves as a non-cleavable linker for antibody–drug conjugate synthesis and as a PEG-based linker for PROTAC synthesis.
The azide reacts with alkynes, including BCN and DBCO, through click chemistry to form a stable triazole linkage. The carboxylic acid supports coupling to primary amines using activators such as EDC or HATU, forming a stable amide bond.
