Dde Biotin Azide Plus is a cleavable biotin PEG reagent bearing terminal biotin and azide groups alongside a hydrazine-sensitive Dde moiety. Its copper-chelating system forms active copper complexes that support CuAAC reactions. Treatment with 2% aqueous hydrazine under mild conditions cleaves the Dde moiety, releasing the biotin tag together with any avidin conjugate bound to it.
