Mal-PEG4-NHS ester combines maleimide and NHS ester groups within a PEG linker. The NHS ester supports labeling of primary amines (-NH2) on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. The maleimide group reacts with thiols to form a covalent connection to thiol-bearing biomolecules.
