Mal-PEG5-NHS ester is a PEG linker combining maleimide and NHS ester functionalities. The NHS ester supports labeling of primary amines (-NH2) on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides and other amine-containing molecules. The maleimide group forms a covalent bond with thiols, providing a separate route for attaching thiol-bearing biomolecules.
