- Description
Fmoc-PEG8-NHS ester combines an Fmoc-protected amine with an NHS ester through a hydrophilic PEG spacer that supports aqueous solubility. The NHS ester enables labeling of primary amines (-NH2) on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides and other amine-containing molecules. Basic deprotection removes the Fmoc group to expose a free amine for subsequent conjugation.
