Amino-PEG6-CH2CO2tBu is a water-soluble PEG linker bearing an amino group and a tert-butyl-protected carboxyl group. The amino functionality reacts with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes. Acidic conditions can remove the tert-butyl protecting group to expose the carboxyl functionality. This reagent is part of the amino PEG linker range and has a listed storage condition of -20°C.
