BP Fluor 555 Azide is a bright orange-fluorescent, water-soluble dye suited for excitation with 532 nm or 555 nm laser lines and visualization with TRITC filter sets. It is classified under click chemistry azide reagents. The azide-functionalized dye participates in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with terminal alkynes, as well as copper-free click reactions with strained cyclooctynes to form stable triazole products. Its conjugates with antibodies, peptides, and proteins are pH insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10, and the dye’s brightness and photostability support direct imaging of low-abundance targets.
