N-Me-N-bis(PEG4-t-butyl ester) is a branched PEG linker with a central methylamine and two PEG4 arms terminating in t-butyl ester groups, supplied at 98% purity. The hydrophilic PEG spacer provides aqueous solubility, the methylamine reacts with carboxylic acids and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes, and the t-butyl-protected carboxyl groups can be deprotected under acidic conditions.
