MB 660R Azide is a far-red to near-IR fluorescent probe functionalized with a terminal azide group. It is water-soluble and reported to be pH-insensitive across pH 4 to 10, with maximum excitation at 633 nm and emission at 690 nm. The azide moiety participates in click chemistry reactions with alkynes, BCN, or DBCO to form stable triazole linkages.
