N-Boc-15-aminopentadecanoic acid is an aliphatic linker with an alkane chain bearing a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amino group. It can be used as a linker in PROTAC synthesis.
The carboxylic acid can couple with primary amines using activators such as EDC or HATU to form a stable amide bond. Mild acidic conditions can remove the Boc protecting group to expose the free amine.
