Boc-6-aminohexanoic acid is an aliphatic linker bearing a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amino group. It can be used in PROTAC synthesis and other conjugation applications. With activators such as EDC or HATU, the carboxylic acid can couple to primary amines to form an amide bond. Mild acidic conditions can remove the Boc protecting group to expose the free amine.
